The Lego Batman Movie Trailer

If you’re not entirely sold on Ben Affleck as Batman in Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice, the good news is that there is another very different Batman movie to look forward to early next year. The Lego Batman Movie is a spin-off from Phil Lord and Chris Miller’s The Lego Movie with Will Arnett once again returning to voice The Dark Knight. As you can probably guess, this is a comedy first and foremost, mixing the more mundane details of Batman’s life with plenty of pop culture references (personally, I’m hoping for more of the former). Directed by Chris McKay (Robot Chicken) and written by Seth Grahame-Smith (Dark Shadows), the movie also features the voices of Michael Cera as Robin, Rosario Dawson as Batgirl, Ralph Fiennes as Alfred and Zach Galifianakis as The Joker. The Lego Batman Movie hits theatres on Feb. 10th, 2017; check out the first trailer after the jump and see what you think.

Garbage rap music should not be allowed within 100 miles of BATMAN.

After seeing BvS even the webcam movie of the produciton of Lego “Batman” bricks in Denmark would be great. But this looks great. How many trailer have the guts to say “from the Producer of “Batman and Robin”? This alone makes it a great trailer.
