Poll Results: Best George Clooney Movie

pollresultsclooney

Last week we asked Film Junk readers to vote for the best George Clooney movie and the answer came back loud and clear: The Coen Brothers’ O Brother, Where Art Thou?. Obviously there were several other movies before this that made him a star, but this was one of the first where he truly came into his own and showed off his comedic abilities. In second place, the Robert Rodriguez / Quentin Tarantino vampire flick From Dusk Till Dawn just barely edged out Wes Anderson’s Fantastic Mr. Fox. After this, there was a three-way tie for fourth place between Michael Clayton, Three Kings and Up in the Air. Way down at the bottom of the list, we had another Coen Brothers film (Intolerable Cruelty) along with a couple of movies that Clooney directed himself and Disney’s sci-fi flop Tomorrowland. Do you agree with these results?

I voted Three Kings, because this movie made the biggest impression on me with Clooney’s comic abilities, but I have to say, O’Brother was close behind.
