Great episode, guys, and Happy New Year!!!

I was hoping for some NHL talk. There is a discussion going on within the NHL community with regards to the game’s entertainment level, a lot of people say it is boring to watch hockey right now, too little skill and too much safe play. Not enough ‘hate’ between the players etc. Would like to hear your opinions on that next time.

    Great show though!

Great stuff guys, happy new year!

In terms of the Pats, Slater said “wait, don’t we get to choose?” in terms of which way they would get to kick the ball. NFL rules state that you get to choose whether to kick or receive, but not also which way you get to kick, hence the confusion. I really don’t think Belichick thought they had a better chance of scoring an immediate TD, he probably thought they had a good chance of stopping them an scraping a field goal and insinuated as much. I don’t think it was a blunder at all.
