Poll Results: Best Ron Howard Movie

pollresultsronhoward

A little over a week ago we asked Film Junk readers to pick Ron Howard’s finest film to date. Now that the results are in, we can safely say that his 1995 film Apollo 13 is the clear favourite with nearly 30% of the votes. Second place was not so clear cut, however, as the voting ended in a tie between Best Picture winner A Beautiful Mind and the more recent Formula One racing film Rush. Late ’80s staples Parenthood and Willow rounded out the top 5. It’s interesting to note that his two most globally successful movies, The Da Vinci Code and Angels & Demons, shared just a single vote between them. Do you agree with these results?

Surprised Frost/Nixon is so low. I certainly thought it was by far his best film.
