The holiday season is upon us and Netflix is celebrating in a big way with the release of their original Christmas special A Very Murray Christmas. Other new additions in the U.S. include Sam Raimi’s Darkman, Sam Mendes’ American Beauty and Stanley Kubrick’s Eyes Wide Shut plus the Sundance sensation that was shot on an iPhone, Tangerine, and a couple of acclaimed documentaries: Best of Enemies and Electric Boogaloo: The Wild, Untold Story of Cannon Films. Meanwhile in Canada, we’ve got Fast Five, Kick-Ass 2, Bridesmaids, Ninja Assassin and Guy Ritchie’s Sherlock Holmes plus the docs Iris, The Devil and Daniel Johnston, and Lambert & Stamp.
