Poll Results: Best Gangster Movie

pollresultsgangster

Last week’s poll was a real doozy but despite the overwhelming number of great gangster films, Film Junk readers clearly gravitated toward four main options. Martin Scorsese’s Goodfellas topped the poll with 32% of the votes, and while that wasn’t a huge surprise, it was interesting that it received more votes than both of the Godfathers combined. The Godfather and The Godfather: Part II placed second and third respectively, followed by Quentin Tarantino’s Pulp Fiction. The Departed was a distant fifth. Most of the remaining twenty-five films only had a smattering of votes between them. Do you agree with these results?
