London Has Fallen Teaser Trailer

Olympus Has Fallen was a minor box office hit back in 2013, stealing the thunder from Roland Emmerich’s own “Die Hard at the White House” movie, White House Down. Now the movie is getting a sequel and we’ve got the first teaser trailer to prove it. As you can probably guess, London Has Fallen moves the setting across the pond where the President of the United States (Aaron Eckhart) and his head of Secret Service (Gerard Butler) are attending a funeral for the British Prime Minister. That’s when terrorists attack and London landmarks get blown up real good. Morgan Freeman, Angela Bassett and Melissa Leo are also returning, although director Antoine Fuqua has been replaced by Swedish helmer Babak Najafi (Easy Money II: Hard to Kill). London Has Fallen hits theatres on Jan. 22nd, 2016; check out the trailer after the jump and see what you think.

    This looks so wonderfully bad.

Really dedicated to borrowing from the Die Hard playbook. Even in making the first sequel a rehash of its previous title.
