Oscar night is almost here and if you are looking for an extra excuse to watch the telecast and join in the festivities, Film Junk has got you covered. In past years we have recorded a pre-Oscar podcast prior to the start of the awards and broadcast it on Ustream, inviting Film Junk listeners to tune in and participate live. Of course, technical difficulties were common and the ties between the topics being discussed and the Oscars were usually tenuous at best, so this time around we are just cutting out the podcast part and setting up a live chat in the Film Junk Ustream channel instead. So now we can all just relax and watch the Oscars together with a bit of added levity.

To make things a little more interesting, we are also doing our annual Film Junk Oscar pool as well.
