Watch Wes Anderson’s New Short Film Castello Cavalcanti Starring Jason Schwartzman

If you just can’t wait until next year to see something new from Wes Anderson, you’re in luck because he has teamed up with his buddy Jason Schwartzman to create a new short film called “Castello Cavalcanti.” Schwartzman plays a race car driver named Jed Cavalcanti who is participating in the the Molte Miglia rally in Italy in 1955. The short will be playing at the Rome Film Festival this weekend but you can also watch it on YouTube right now for free. This is one of two shorts that he has made for Prada this year, the other promoting a new perfume called Candy L’Eau. They may be ads, but they are also unmistakably Wes Anderson. Check out both short films after the jump and see what you think.
