The Conjuring Trailer #3

conjuringtrailer3

Extremely positive reviews coming out of advance screenings are continuing to hint that James Wan’s upcoming horror film The Conjuring could end up being the biggest surprise hit of the summer. The movie received an R-rating based solely on the intensity of the scares and it seems to be working wonders on unsuspecting moviegoers. Like many haunted house movies, it claims to be based on a true story, and now they’ve taken an interesting approach to the marketing by including the original family in the latest trailer. What do you think, is this just a lame gimmick or does it help sell you on the movie? The Conjuring hits theatres on July 19th; check out the trailer after the jump and see what you think.

“30 years ago the world was not prepared for this” Why, because in 1983 we seemed ok with the Exorcist and the Amityville Horror. Yeah right, 30 years ago they would’ve dragged a Betamax video camera into your house and called bullshit on your story.
