New to Theatres This Weekend: The Last Stand, Mama, Broken City

It’s just another cold January weekend at your local multiplex with the usual mix of genre flicks and quietly released duds featuring big name stars. The Last Stand marks Arnold Schwarzenegger’s official return to the big screen and Kim Ji-woon’s U.S. directorial debut, but will it attract enough attention to take down Kathryn Bigelow’s Zero Dark Thirty? Also hitting theatres we have Broken City, a crime drama that curiously stars Mark Wahlberg and Russell Crowe… what’s this doing out in January? (I think I know the answer to that question.) We’ve also got another Jessica Chastain movie out this weekend as the Guillermo del Toro-produced horror flick Mama debuts. If that’s not enough, David O. Russell’s Silver Linings Playbook is also finally in wide release. What will you be watching this weekend?

Well, when i could watch any of it (Kraut Based Human) i would go for OOLLLDD Arnie, what better way to relex and enjoy 2 Hours of fun, without being aware that this was real (or not) in the 30 second Dark Kino.

Sometimes a good old 80s movie (incl. re-cycle Ammo and one liner) with a lot of cliche (not always bad) and a some popcorn is the way to go…where ever you go….there you are…..
