Giveaway: Win a Copy of The Road on DVD

John Hillcoat’s adaptation of Cormac McCarthy’s The Road was one of our favourite movies of last year, but unfortunately not many people got a chance to see it since it received a pretty pitiful theatrical release. The movie is about a father (Viggo Mortensen) and son (Kodi Smit-McPhee) struggling to survive in a savage post-apocalyptic world. The good news is, it will finally hit DVD and Blu-ray next Tuesday, May 25th, and we’ve got one copy of the DVD to give away right here on Film Junk.

To enter, just send your name and mailing address to filmjunk@gmail.com with “The Road Giveaway” in the subject line. We’ll randomly pick a winner from all the entries we receive and notify them by next Thursday (May 27th).

Note: This giveaway is open to U.S. residents only.

Extras include:

  • Audio Commentary by director John Hillcoat
  • Deleted and extended scenes
  • Making of The Road featurette
  • 2 theatrical trailers

Good luck!
