Just when you thought it couldn’t get any worse than Epic Movie or Date Movie, along comes the latest masterpiece from comedic geniuses Jason Friedberg and Aaron Seltzer: Meet The Spartans. This time around apparently they’ve dedicated an entire movie to making fun of 300. I will admit, 300 is a movie that deserves to be parodied… but come on, it’s just so damn easy! To make matters worse, National Lampoon is working on a similar film called 301: The Legend of Awesomest Maximus Wallace Leonidas. Will anyone still be interested by the time it comes out? They’re rushing this thing to theatres so fast that the IMDb entry still has it listed under the working title of Hunting and Fishing (?). At any rate, it seems a safe bet to rake in the cash when it hits theatres sometime early next year. Who knows, it might just be stupid enough to be funny… right?
